Thanks to a historic partnership between Schneider and Semar, the Cairo Montenotte plant is acquired by Semar and officially becomes part of the group as of May 1, 2022, taking the name Semar Electric. Becoming an integral part of the Group, the company will expand its range of products in the coming years by integrating the IoT technologies designed by the group.

The Cairo Montenotte site is, and will remain, the pole of competence for Medium Voltage measurement transformers: precision equipment that allows, with the help of the best available technologies and materials, the measurement of quantities on electrical distribution lines and systems and on designed ones.
Thanks to the Research and Development center of Castelfidardo iSemar and to the Cairo Montenotte site, it will be possible the integration and the realization of "smart" Medium Voltage transformers, interconnected to the network with the highest technologies. We will design and realize together products already developed in Cairo Montenotte but thanks to the integrated IoT solutions we will be able to offer very high quality standards:

- CUSTOMIZABLE: possibility to customize according to the needs and areas of application
- TECHNOLOGY: integrate the latest telecommunication technologies
- LOCATION: monitor anywhere in the world and have a data report thanks to a cloud where you can verify all operations
